Individual Note:
     According to Anne Storey she was admired by both Tommy and William and
married Tommy. When he died, she married William.
Annie died of gangerine in the big toe as a result of taking insulin. She
was one of the first patients in Canada to receive the new drug as a
controlling agent for diabetes but doctors at the time did not know that
the amount of dosage was critical. (Bill Loney)

Individual Note:
     Anne Storey said William was in love with Annie even before she married
Tommy. She said that he was unemployed much of the time. He was not
lazy but didn't think that he could do anything. With Ottawa Valley all
lumbered out, probably moved to Sturgeon Falls to find work in the lumber
industry there.
Edna in a book of poems she wrote talked about her father playing fiddle.

     I am not sure about Lillies birthdate. On the sheet Anne Storey sent me
she puts it as 1880. However, she told me in a conversation that her
mother was 3 when her mother married William Loney in 1885. (Peter Loney)

years. They married after John's first wife died. Anne traced John's
family tree to Alfred the Great

Individual Note:
     killed in First World War at Hill 70. From WWI Archives on internet I
learned that Private Ernest Victory Loney died on Wednesday, Aug. 15,
1917 at age 25 and was survived by his parents, William and Annie Loney
of Sudbury, Ont. He was buried at the Vimy Memorial. (Bill Loney)
